Man, I just DGAF. I think I've washed my black BMW twice in the eight months I've had it.

You'd likely be a little more fastidious if it was a sportscar though, or something really special.  I'm not fussy about cleaning my vehicles either but always keep the sportscar looking good.  It's easy peasy with a tiny convertible though.  Takes me only about 15 minutes to wash the Z3M, and maybe an hour for a good detail.  Driving it only in the warmer months also makes it much easier to keep clean.  Takes a lot longer to clean my other two vehicles, especially the first spring cleaning.   :P

I still say white is the worst, at least in this climate.  Don't even notice the iron dust on my Frontier, but shows up like crazy on the white Lexus.

If you don’t clean your glasses you will not notice it

Do you have one of these Hot Wheels?

No, but my dealership does  ;D

It also has the real thing, that orange one I showed off a little while back is back for sale, the deal with OB Prestige I guess fell through...

I really wouldn't mind some better pics if you can swing it man. Especially the interior.

 :popo:
I will! Maybe today will take some nice pics of all angles.

As promised, better pics. Needs another detail and wash, excuse the dirt.

Going in tomorrow for some fluids changed and switch over to summer rims, as well as assessment for paint correction and ceramic coat re done. Car scratches too easily, bugs me.

Loving the drive so far. Love it.

Thank you Chaos.

Yeah pretty nice. That amount of room in the back is hilarious!

And yet the kid still manages to kick the back of the seat.  There's just no fecking getting around it.

Looking good! What happened to the engine cover? Also need some pics with the summer wheels on, those winter ones don't really do it justice IMO.

I have no idea what they look like! They were in storage when I bought the car. Will find out tomorrow!

Those winter rims are not cheap either, mind you  :o

Yeah the little guy kicked the seat real good. Went for a bit of a hike, and his legs are just the right length to kick the back of my seat  :( Oh well, easily wiped down at least.

The engine cover I took off for a nice glorious shot of the supercharger up top. Cover goes back on after photoshoot.

It's funny, because I've never had a car where my daughter can't reach out and kick the back of a front seat.  Even now with the Tundra, which has even more legroom than your Jag, she's eight now, and can just about reach if she wanted to.  Good thing she's 8 now and understands not to do that anymore.

Great pics, great car. Too bad you live so far away as I'd love to see it in person.

Never understood this kicking the seat thing. I only did it twice as a kid. The first time, then was told not to. The second time, then was reminded not to. Never happened again.  :P

Oh, you did it plenty, you were just too young to remember.  Once you were old enough to remember, you were old enough to listen.

Yeah, kicking the seat is one of those things....When I was a kid I knew I'd catch a whack pretty quick if I kicked the seat, so I didn't. Younger kids though, it's tough...my two year old does it occasionally, and I don't have the heart to get really pissed at him for it, so I'll tell him not too, and by the next ride he's forgotten and is back at it.... In the XKR I take his shoes off b/c he's really close to the seat, in the Escalade Mrs.Firm actually sourced something like this:

It matches the Escalade interior pretty well, guards the seat from kicks, and has provided a convenient spot to keep covid-essentials (hand sanitizer, wipes, etc)

Seems we both went to the same school of discipline.  :rofl2:

I found this to not be the case in our Grand Caravan.

More seat travel in the Odyssey I guess!
