Gorgeous car.  Definitely a head turner.

Damn that looks good.

Sad that Jaguar has given up on large sedans.

Looks great! Does it fit in the garage? Would give some extra reverberation on start up.  ;D

Jags are pretty much all beautiful cars, and this one is more imposing then most, especially in black! Epitomizes the big sedans Jag is famous for

That's some long machine, parking must be a bit of an adventure at times

Thanks all. Yeah it is very long and takes the entire garage, not much room at all when it is in there. As for parking, I try to park far away from everything in a lot, not taking any chances. Parking sensors are very handy!
If driving an Alfa does not restore vitality to your soul, then just pass the hospital and park at the morgue to save everyone time.

Now drives a Jaaaaaaag...and thus will not pay for anything during an outing...but it is OK, because....I drive a Jaaaaaag.

Oh man, what a nice car. Are you going to get a ceramic coating on it? Should help keep it looking good.
it already is ceramic coated, lucky me. Couple minor scrapes on lower front bumper to touch up and seal, and I am happy with the paintwork on it. Open to suggestions for a certamic coating maintenance product to keep it nice...so far been using just a wax less quick detailer mainly for dust...

I guess MY biggest problem with owning a vehicle like this would the obligation of keeping it clean and pristine.  Such a nice car deserves to be clean ALL the time, and it would probably drive me crazy.

Nah.  The joy of a beater is that you don't need to nitpick over it all the time.

It drove me bonkers with the 1LE

Edit this was more a comment on being a black car not that it deserved to be clean.
I can see how someone can get crazy about car care.  I was a little obsessive with my Golf R when I first got it (my first real car for myself) but towards the end of it I really only "detailed" it twice a year and washed it at most every other week during the warm months.

Vmango, any new updates on the wagon?

Black cars definitely tough to keep clean.  But, man, do they look good when they are clean, as Chaos' pictures reveal.
Yeah, I want to wash the car every second day and detail it every night just to keep that pure shiny paint pristine.

This. I have owned one black car, never again.

i've seen review videos of Turtle Wax Hybrid Solutions product and they seem quite positive (it's also not expensive):

Beautiful car!

Sadly these big sedans are disappearing fast.  I saw a newish S-Class a couple of days ago and realized it's the first one I've seen in ages.  I've yet to see a new gen Lexus LS but i see dozens of the older editions driving around on a regular basis.

Man, I just DGAF. I think I've washed my black BMW twice in the eight months I've had it.
