The Alpine White, tinted windows and M-Sport package suits the wagon very well.  :) White works well on BMW.

You seem like you'd know the answer to this... is Alpine White the free white or the costs-money white?

Does it come in brown?  :)

It's the free, non-metallic one. Mineral white is the extra-cost metallic.

I like that you can open the glass separately from the hatch, wish more cars had this feature.

Yup, it's a great feature and I use it all the time.

I believe the Matrix/Vibe twins had that feature too.

That is a nice wagon especially in white.

2019? I'm guessing this is one of the last ones made for Canada/US?

Also looks like 900-1000 km range on the hwy. Nice.

Sweet!  Diesels aren't fast but they're really satisfying on highway drives. There's no downshifting for hills and passes are a lazy roll into the throttle.  I like the character of the power delivery.

Looking forward to seeing what kind of fuel economy you get.

Great call! Diesel and a wagon together at last!

Oh hi.

It's a 2.0 turbocharged four cylinder.

Also, shame on you for asking if a BMW has a V6.  :P

Yes, but it was never offered here. Closest thing we got was the 2011-2013 335d sedan which had an I6 turbo diesel. That same engine was also offered in the contemporary X5.

I like it!  Very sexy shape.  Not sure why everyone is p*ssing and moaning about it being a snoozemobile.  There are far more other cars that fit that bill.

I like it too, and like others, I think the separately openable hatch glass is great.

The "snooze mobile" business comes from our expectations - we have come to expect TheHire to buy some relatively exotic machinery.  The BMW 3-Series is like the Corolla of sports sedans.  Granted, this is a wagon, but you get the picture.

Really though?  Like, yeah, he has some semi-exotic stuff - S2000, Vantage, M5, etc, but those are toys.  All of his daily stuff is 'boring'.  Lexus LS, Yukon Denali, Genesis Sedan, etc.  I'd say a BMW wagon is well in character for a daily vehicle.

The only thing that's not 'boring' is your willingness and capacity to just drop money on a nice car whenever you want without agonizing over it like the rest of us plebians.

Like 'Oh, My Denali Diesel is delayed, so I'm just going to drop coin on this year old BMW until its ready'.  I find that hilarious!  :)

Firm's one to talk.  He's the guy with like  7 cars, not one of them worth over $2k, lol  :rofl2:.  (I kid, I kid - his Jag has probably only depreciated to about $5k by now...  :P

LOL!  I don't think of your daily stuff as particularly boring.  The LS and Genesis are hardly commonplace on the roads when compared with a 3-series.
