Not probably, CERTAINLY. Those things are no slouch; I went on the launch event. Excellent vehicle, probably the perfect vehicle for the mainstream consumer.

Too boring for me, though...

Lol, I suppose. But its all a matter of perspective. In Europe diesel BMW wagons are a dime a dozen and could be considered boring...:)

That's so it can avoid getting hit by the rocks being thrown at it by people on the street for being so gawdamned ugly.

You are 100% right. Firm has already given me sh*t about how lame this choice is... but hey, the wife loves a wagon so I'm going to embrace this!  ;D

I wouldn't say it's that lame.  It's an AWD german wagon with a diesel.  Anyway, the rest of your stable more than makes up for any 'lameness' that you may have in a DD.

Congrats on joining the BMW wagon club!

I've been tempted by the F31 a few times, but the 4 cyl + auto combo just doesn't really do it for me as a primary vehicle.

Hoping it's orange or blue.

Yea, I'm sure the 3,500 rpm redline in the BMW will keep you wide awake!!    :rofl2:

And I'm disappointed.

A used LS600hl should have been the correct unicorn chosen here.   ;D

Lease = write-offs, plus added bonuses from day-job. It's why the Yukon is a thing to begin with.

Also, you should be REALLY proud... doesn't BMW also suggest 25,000km oil change intervals?  :rofl2:

A 600hL would be terrible - I'd rather a fully jammed 460L to be honest.

Congrats!

Two transportation colleagues of mine, also in the GTA, have these oil-burning wagons - both are blue! I still miss my TDI - a diesel's clang feels as special as an EV's whirr - you're in a different machine and you feel it. You'll be getting a preview on hunting for diesel pumps ahead of the Yukon's arrival.

For sure, it's been nearly a decade since I had my Touareg V10TDI.

I like that you can open the glass separately from the hatch, wish more cars had this feature.
