The 12-volt battery in the Mach-E, and other electric vehicles, can be jumped. But in the case of the Mach-E, that process isn’t easy. The Verge reported that the 12-volt battery in the Mach-E is located behind the front trunk, and to access it you have to open the hood—which is powered by the 12-volt battery.
In order to open the trunk, a panel has to be removed from the front of the car which exposes two leads which can then be used to jump the electronic latch for the hood. Owners then have to pull back another panel to get to the 12-volt battery. And instead of doing so, some owners have cut through that panel entirely
