Impreza is a great value car. Rides nicely and is much quieter than past generations. It does lack the polish of the Civic but still a very comfortable AWD commuter. CVT isn't so bad either.

If one is paying cash.  5 speed manual ...

Ex-GF bought her 2019 3 yrs 0.5%. Two months later they had 5 years 0.5%.

Subaru only has good rates on their cars. Crossovers are a different story.

My little sister has had two Impreza's over the past 5 years and she has loved both of them.  I've driven both of them and they are a great little car for what you get.  Nothing fancy, but definitely has a more rugged feeling and very solid option for our rough winters here in NB.

I'd like to see them offer a 6 speed manual on the next generation as I'm sure that will help a bit with fuel economy and high cruising RPM.

From $19,995 with a five-speed manual gearbox, the 2021 Subaru Impreza stays the cheapest new vehicle with AWD offered in the country. Add a CVT for $2,000, and it keeps that title, while picking the five-door hatch adds $1,000 to the price of the sedan.

Imprezzive  :)

I remember at the very beginning of the century Subaru cars were ridiculously overpriced (in Canada) "because AWD, duh!". I'm beginning to see more of these on the road.
