OK. I hope it is at the back of the lot and away from my car.

This is a cool toy for rich suburbanites. Nothing more really. Would be cool to see the tech mature into working trucks, although I understand that demographic is a conservative as they come. Will take a while.
If driving an Alfa does not restore vitality to your soul, then just pass the hospital and park at the morgue to save everyone time.

Now drives a Jaaaaaaag...and thus will not pay for anything during an outing...but it is OK, because....I drive a Jaaaaaag.

What new automotive technologies don't originate in expensive luxury cars and then trickle down into the mainstream?

What a joke.  ::)

Also, since we have now graduated to having actual TV-sized screens in vehicles, how long before they just make the whole damned windshield a screen with camera feeds to show you what the fack is going on around you?  :P

Why do I see (starting with the extra-terrestrial appearance in the animation video), a kind of Arnold's big fat vehicle coming directly from the lastest to come Terminator movie?  ::)

Even if 1,000 Hp model is equipped with 3 electric motors, this 11,500 Lb-ft c/w 35" tires puzzled me ! :think:  Need to put down some numbers ...

According to Engineering Explained they are stating wheel torque instead of engine torque. Rough calculations indicate that engine torque should be around 1000ft-lbs.

It's over a foot shorter than a Silverado crew cab.

Yeah, wondering the same thing  :think:  Don't think it will be wider than a Ford Raptor. Why would they make something that doesn't fit on the road?

maybe the macho looks make it seem much bigger than it is...  :shuffle:

Guess will see when one tries to park at my local stores next to other vehicles. Know a few urban cowboys in my neighborhood who probably are on the phone right now with Hummer to place an order...

Or we could, you know, wait for the dimensions to be released.

As I already mentioned, this is more than a foot shorter than a crew cab Silverado.

The funny thing is, all these cars/trucks are getting bigger on the outside, whilst the inside is staying fairly similar due to crash protection regs etc.

The new Bronco looks massive on the outside, but it's that big on the inside.

And this Hummer will weigh well over 5,000lbs for sure. The people near me can't make it around icy corners in SUV's as it is.

The more interesting vehicles manufacturers produce the better. It doesn’t have to be loved by everyone. Also glad that not only Tesla is willing to break out of the same-old-same-old; good for them.
