2022 Honda Civic

Sort of, de-evolution. a lot less over-style, than the last model, that mode of civic has really dated quickly.

Looks kind of bland and a bit too Accord-like.

Looks like a shrunken Accord. I think it's going to be awkwardly proportioned.

I love the simple interior.

On first impression I like it. Will see what pricing and performance is like for the promised SI and Type R versions.

Even though the lower grill is quite large, it doesn't look nearly as yuge as a lot of other new cars.

I like it as well.  Sonata replacement in a couple years?

A+ IMO. I expected something half-crazy but it turned out to be a handsome sedan with a low and wide stance that will likely age well. Any word on the engine choices?

It does look sort of generic like Jetta and 3 now but I like it.

It's still a prototype. I almost expect them to drop the naturally aspirated 2.0 and go with the carried over 1.5L turbo standard with an optional 2.0L turbo. Hatchback, SI, and Type R

I'm actually in a bit of shock how smooth and generic this is - and like it. The back 3/4 view is so immediately BMW to me. They will sell a ton of these, if only because the people who, because of the last styling "exercise" "abortion", refused to set foot in a Honda Dealership under any circumstances.

The interior may be a problem though, being so bland and wide with that big ipod thingie stuck up in the air. Kudos, I think, for designers who tried to do something about hiding the hideous circles of air vents that have appeared in many cars (a glaring problem especially with Mercedes) into a wide hidden pattern instead. I can't remember anyone trying to do this in a very long time.

I think it much better than last gen, which seemed to date quickly.

I like the dash . It looks uncluttered and could give you the illusion that the interior is bigger than it actually is. In a way it reminds me of the dash in my 78 civic, more modern of course.
