ha, first thing I did too was look at the inventory, see if I could spot what Ron is interested in.  Your winter beater idea makes sense.  The only other vehicles I'd think he'd be interested in are a few newer 2017/18 Lexus IS or GS350's, but I don't think they're special enough for him to spend that kind of money on a replacement for the SC.  Not when he was talking about RC350, 911, etc.

This is not for the SC replacement.

Rather the frugal family vehicle I had been talking about previously.

Don't get your hopes up!   Nothing exciting to see here...

The more I think, the SC replacement might be 1-2 years out.  If I can hold out that long.

You didn't read my whole thread!

I said I was undecided whether to buy NOW...or re-invest my moneys so that I can further include some nicer cars....991 911, LC500, etc.

I'm leaning towards option 2....not sure now is the best time to be buying a $60k+ car with Covid 2nd wave, US elections, possible market correction etc. etc.

Although if some amazing/car deal comes along, I might jump.  There was an amazing macadamia metallic Carerra 4S 987.2 I missed....something like that would be tough to pass on.

Not for me anyways....yet.

I still think the elections/covid is going to mess with the markets and a downturn is coming.

There was a car I ALMOST bought...texted  couple of guys on the forum to save me from myself...and they both told me to buy it!!   :rofl: :rofl2:

Fortunately (or not) it sold while I was getting shipping quotes. Not sure if it was a great deal or train wreck in the making.  Literally could have gone either way!   :rofl: :rofl2:

Dealer sounds like a train wreck.

A forum member is there now on my behalf...with an appointment booked a day in advance..and car isn't ready.

Oh..and they mentioned a $500 prep fee not mentioned anywhere in the ads.  And the sales manager (who called me first) is a pushy swerver.

Again...car lots are stuck in the 70s.....FFS.
