New helmet got delivered this week, yay!

Very cool! :winner:

Got myself some klim K Fifty 2 jeans and some TCX baja boots to wear to work so I don't have to change out of my power ranger outfit. Boots are uber comfortable

I know nothing about this type of gear, but those boots are hot.   Love the colour.  Do they smell nice and leathery too?

I'm currently looking at a new modular helmet as my ~$200 MT one is loud, LOUD AF in fact,  and tries actively to suck itself off my head at any speed over 60km/h. Currently looking at the Schuberth C4 Pro and the Shoei Neotec. Anyone have any experience with either of the manufacturers??

Had a Shoei non modular for years, very well made helmet. Shoei and Arai were the two standards for a long time

Definitely a different head shape than Arai, fits me fine whereas I couldn't stand the Arai shell

My modular is an HJC, works well.

Always wore earplugs though with all my helmets, at least on trips

I've owned helmets from both.

Both quality.

FWIW, I have a Shark Modular helmet I chose over the others.

If you're looking for a dual sporty modular helmet, check out the Scorpion EXO AT950. Guys seem to like it.

Otherwise, either of the helmets you're looking at are fine.
How fast is my 911?  Supras sh*t on on me all the time...in reverse..with blown turbos  :( ...

Also, regardless of helmet, make sure you wear earplugs all the time.

Yep.

And I'd go one extra and suggest custom fitted.

Not terribly expensive and definitely worth the cost IMO.

I've been considering one of those.  Would like to try one on.

On the optimistic theory that I will be riding a motocycle any time this summer, I now have a mesh summer jacket.  Going for the award for most gear owned by someone who doesn't own a bike.  :rofl2:
