There's a show'n'shine for cars...why not tires!?

Betcha didn't think that was a question that needed answering...yet here it is...being asked.

Here's mine.  Basically new - dealer to tire shop kinda new - the ones I bought off the guy who bought the wheels off the guy who didn't want either.  He's got the wheels, I got the tires...I can't decide if I should put them on now...or wait until Sept/Oct.  There's still 4-5/32nds left on the old ones.  And it aint like we're going anywhere... :P  2 camping trips booked...they'll get us there and back still.

^Have a look at the serial code, if the first two digits are 4B they were made in Napanee, Ontario

The first two digits of any tire serial is the plant code.  You can look it up and find out exactly where it's built.
We build a lot of Wranglers so thought it might be one of ours.

I wasn't being a dick...to be clear.

But yah never know...if it works better for Americans to see Made in the USA, I can see why even we might stamp them that way.  Current Wranglers are ATS, these are something else.  They've got Kevlar.  I feel like a king now.  That MUST be a cooler better tire.  And not as ugly as Duratracs.  I couldn't do those.  My truck doesn't look rugged enough for those, and they're ugly to boot.

Really, I think most 4x4 look 100 times better than the all season crap the factory saddles them with. Duratracs look good, pull a trailer well, are ok for most light offroad situations, are awesome in snow, to me, they are a great tire.
Lighten up Francis.....

I fix the machines that slits the kevlar, here's inside one of them.

It's fun to change belts on. ;D

Seeing as I have a dedicated set of winter tires for my truck, I'll probably just veer toward a more street oriented tire on my truck, ones that are quiet and tow well.  I would like to transition to an LT tire, rather than the P-rated tire that Toyota puts on from the factory.

I’ve got those tires on my truck BW.  Been great so far. A good mix between riding the highway and getting you through some greasy stuff if need be.
