OK I will live with them but only if you need a class 6 to operate them and you  take and pass  your test on a two wheeled machine.  ;)

In Ontario, you still need a motorcycle license.

Not so further east, I see lots more out there  too

Apparently they are trying to change the legislation.  I know it was changed for the Slingshot.
How fast is my 911?  Supras sh*t on on me all the time...in reverse..with blown turbos  :( ...

Three wheel machines don't make any sense. All the drawbacks of a bike married with all the drawbacks of a car

This. I wouldn't mind a three wheeled car, as it's fine as a car, but as soon as you put a third wheel on a bike, it takes all the benefit away.

Jacob's Can-Am review was hilarious.

Whenever anyone asks me about the Spyder, I answer them the same way: “It was the single worst motoring experience of my life.”

I would not, and could not, recommend it to anyone. Ever.

The Can-Am Spyder RT is like a bouncy castle with a “no jumping” rule. It looks like fun. But it’s not.

Fobroader you got the centre stand right? It’ll be extremely useful for chain maintenance and tire changes.

interesting how they get bikes that actually aren't sold here...must be a deal from Honda Canada (they must import them here for that specific use, but maybe aren't legal for sale to actual customers?).

in any case, should be a nice bike to learn on.

Yea, if the instructors are good you should learn a bunch of stuff that's useful

And, for what it is worth, those bikes seem excessively beginner to me.

My sense of motorcycle safety these days is not that riders struggle to ride a single piston 125 play thing but that they can’t handle the hyper powerful machines offered as standard fare in today’s motorcycle market.

You're learning technique and knowledge...which can be scaled up or down as needed.

The biggest problem with the hyper machines is excessive speed for the conditions....which is a problem of self control more than anything

So I road dirt bikes and motocross bikes for many years and thousands of miles.

Would I learn very much in a street licensing course?

Oddly, I’ve never sought my M license to date.
That's the background I came from.

My biggest transition was braking from dirt to street and really learning counter steering as an art.

No question in my mind my dirt experience paid huge, huge dividends on the street...but more so on the track.

But yea...I think you'd learn something.

I did something similar (we used our own bikes though) after I'd ridden for years on the street and I was very impressed.

There's a lot of technique to riding
