I did that once, my GPZ900R was my only transportation for a few months until I found my 911. A few times I had to dust snow off the bike on the way to/from work, but no -30C stuff.

yea, it's a pretty solid package, especially to learn on...as it comes so nicely equipped, and it's smaller engine size allows lower insurance rates, it could be a keep too.
