No.

The 2009+ is better.  ABS+heated grips.  If you don't care about those, the 2007 was a complete redesign vs the older one like in the ad.

Can usually get a 2009 for around that asking price.

Yep.  I've never seen a 2010+ without them.  I think this was called the "Limited" model in Canada.  IIRC, that's all we got.

Look under the left grip

Scooters are the beige Corolla of two wheeled transportation...minus the exciting Corolla styling.
I think the new X-Adv is pretty interesting style wise. Has been the best selling bike in Euroland.

Because Giovanni from Rome is 34, lives with his parents and has nowhere to park is not a good argument for anyone over the age of 16 to own a scooter lol

There is probably a similar ongoing thread for Edmonton area, the Kingston one has been going for 10 years or so

guy ships over a 250cc bike from Europe, rides across Canada up to Alaska then down through South America. Epic.

That's a good site. If you are thinking of riding with an open face helmet, have a look at the condition of my full face on this old thread here:

Ive seen those types, usually on a big BMW bike with all the touring goodies, snow is barely melted in the gutters and its +2 and they're out and about....crazy. I don't know a lot about motorbikes, but I know that gravel and crap is not a good time.

Holy :censor:, yeah, I wasn't even remotely planning on anything but a full face helmet.

Deer terrify me. They are so dumb and unpredictable. I slow the heck down if I see any close by.

Full helmet for me. Those little partial ones that the cruiser guys were are barely more than a pedal bike one for protection. Some of the bigger bugs can also hurt at bit when hit at speed. I could not imagine getting one in the face.

I've hit june bugs, they make a very loud smack on the windshield, wouldn't want to take one of them in the mouth thanks.
