In a lot of ways I would rather have this than the new Supra.  Would be a great replacement for my Golf R.

I know three lungers get a bad rap in cars, but one of the my fave bike engines is a triple.

yea, they seem to suit the various bikes Yamaha puts theirs in, and the Triumph one is nice too...they always seem crappy in cars though.

270hp is a lot in a FWD midsize sedan.  To have that kind of power in a tiny little nimble car like a Yaris?  And have it be able to put that power to the ground? 

Yeah, I wouldn't have my license for long either.

Fiesta ST had a 1.6L turbo 4cyl, but there was a turbo 3cyl engine available on other trims.

When we lost it, the Europeans got the updated version with a 1.5l 197 hp 3 cyl.  No more 4 bangers for them either.  That vid, is a 3 cyl.

Many years  ago when Suzuki and Chevrolet had those 3 cylinder subcompacts I thought they sounded quite good when the exhaust systems were going.
Sounded a little like 6 cylinder .  :-\  I have never thought that of a 4 cylinder though.

The little Yaris is AWD.  This would a seriously potent little machine.  Tiny chassis, big power, AWD...Damn, anyone want to say "better WRX than the WRX...?"
