Both from a driving pleasure perspective as well as value retention, the 911 and Cayman are at the top of the heap provided you can swing the upfront purchase price:

Anecdote: I just got out of a mega rush to the printing deadline for the 2025 L'Annuel de l'automobile, and in our spec charts we have Canadian market depreciation over 3 years. The lowest I've seen in my allotment - one that includes the entire Porsche range - is the Nissan Versa's, at 0.5%. Not surprised: with the lack of new small car options but high used demand, askings for 8 y.o. subcompacts are still near their msrp's.

The 911 is at 5.3%, 718 at 12.2% and the others go up to 22.2%, worst being the Panamera of course.

Porsche Prestige has listed two PTS Stone Grey 911s, a Dakar and a GT3 RS. Both with < 100 km on them. Gotta assume the same person ordered both, right?

Over a million bucks for those two combined!

I agree it looks too much like someone thought to order two that look very similar, one for summer fun and the other for winter shenanigan's.

I had to sign a contract at delivery yesterday that I agree not to sell within a year, and that the dealership has first right of refusal on any sale within 2 years.  I have no idea how enforceable it is, or if they would bother pursuing it (maybe for something like one of the ones above)

They told me they do this now because when the GT3RS became available a guy in the UK got 13 allocations at different dealerships and then went on social media bragging about how he was flipping them.  Could just be an urban legend they use as justification for the contract!

Show & shine coming soon, swag for now!

Congrats!

I signed the same thing. It's not enfocable really but if they find out it will be hard to get another allocation to a special car.
I love it when a plan comes together.
