This pretty beast was in our parking lot today.  It’s a GT4 and at first I thought it was a manual but I thought all GT4’s were automatic.  No idea who owns it but will run the plates on Monday to see who it belongs to and then make a plan of meeting them and becoming friends so I get a ride in it.

In that first picture you can see my vehicle off in the distance.

Awesome. All GT4s were manual, then they started offering the PDK in 2021 I believe. All GT4 RSes are PDK though.

Dealer. It literally just rolled off the truck. He sent me a video as well. Also mentioned day 1 clock (of 90) starts today. Once it's cleaned up, at proper ride height, and set up at the dealer I'll take a closer look.

Looks great!

Curious:  Do you plan to run a front plate or no?  I ask as I'm debating the same for my blackwing (whenever the hell it arrives).   Currently thinking I will as I just don't want the hassle and hey, it's a sedan!

Haven't thought about it actually. I am contemplating getting some personalized plates, maybe. I'll probably run front plates knowing me.
I love it when a plan comes together.

I have no front plate on my S2000 and 550M. The Vantage has a powered hide-away thingy and is hidden 99% of the time. I've been hassled a grand total of once for the plate and it was in the Vantage.

The Porsche, M5, and other stuff all have front tags.

Got a text from the dealership GM: "Your car has lined off the plant and is at the Port of Emden waiting to be loaded onto a vessel."

It lives.

Further update: "Good news, your car is on a vessel and scheduled to arrive in Halifax in a week"

Car landed in Halifax and should be at the dealer next Monday / Tuesday...

Did you follow the build with the online system?  I received mine yesterday and it's showing at Stage 1 of 9 with date estimates for each, I'm just wondering how accurate it was if you followed it

I did not. The dealer GM would just text me updates :)

Looking forward to seeing that Macan

The only other 964 I've seen in that color was a cabriolet owned by Marlen Cowpland (Michael Cowpland's / Corel founders wife). A good friend of my dad went to Ottawa to see it when it came up for sale in the late 90's.....I remember him coming over and showing us photos of her and the car, really stuck out in my head. She had a matching pink poodle.

Man, was she a piece of work! You should see the eyesore their house was/is, matched the colour of their corporate building, all rose coloured glass, and certainly didn't fit into the neighbourhood.

I must be crazy because I LOVE the Rubystone. Reminds me of the Lambo Thirty Metallic on the Diablo SE30...

Did you take that picture or did the dealer send it to you?  Looks great man, can't wait to hear about your first drive in your own Porsche.

Sweet!

The 90 day clock times out when?  August 11 or so?
