Yup. Porsche offers the seat belts in a handful of colours for a few hundred bucks.

Just noticed that the Porsche configurator allows you to build a car with Paint to Sample colours...great more wasted time and dreaming :(
I love it when a plan comes together.

You'll need this in conjunction...just to see every Porsche color...ever.

That's a decent deal.  I know a lot of guys who LEASE expensive cars that they drive 4-5 months of the year.  Probably the same annual cash outlay if you said you'd join that program just in the nicer months.

Nice. Do they have the rental? I thoroughly enjoyed my one day rentals with the Boxster and Cayman GTSs...may have to do another one this year.

Of all the “super cars” ever made I think this one is by far my favourite.  Sure there are prettier and faster super cars out there but this one just seems so special as it’s so different from pretty much everything Porsche has ever made.  Too bad that it now has a bad rap from killing Paul Walker.

It had a bad rap as a difficult and unforgiving car to drive long before Walker

On the build and price I can theoretically get a new Cayman with PDK and blue as the only option for just under $80K + tax.  Is it actually possible to buy such a car? There are no dealers in Newfoundland of course.

Call up Halifax dealer and see.  I don’t see it being an issue, just might take awhile.

What's the current situation on Porsche orders?

I think it depends on the model and trim level, so a base Cayman is likely quicker to get than say a GT4 or even GTS.

They aren't even taking orders for GT4 or GTS right now, and likely won't start again. A regular Cayman or Cayman S would be pretty easy to get within 3-4 months. I was told 6 months tops for a custom factory order Taycan Cross Turismo.

I'd be on the Cayman base side, I mean it's totally impractical for a year round car but those 50 nice days we have might make it all worth it! And then there's no Porsche dealer here so that's a nuisense.

I highly doubt you’d be able to get any new Cayman in 3-4 months…not when there are used ones going for $20-30k premiums.

Interesting colour combo too, though it wouldn't be my first choice. I'd love one of these in red.

Similar to that GTS, here is a very rare manual 2010 Cayenne Transsyberia. 179k on it and they're asking $110k which seems outrageous but who knows these days.

IIRC, this is basically an S with the GTS motor and some off-road goodies. They look pretty cool. From what I've read they were auto-only in the U.S. but in Canada you could spec a manual, I think.
