I wonder if this comes with $50k cash as well for this f'n price!?

Out of curiosity, what’s a fair price for that car?

I think $75k is probably about right. It's nicely optioned and has low KMs.

Porsche dealers are asking $90k+ for later 997.2 cars.

Edit: Here's a very nice 997.1 with 100k on it for $57k. https://finder.porsche.com/ca/en-CA/details/porsche-911-carrera-s-preowned-J2V9OK

That's not a dealer, that's a guy who loves his car and doesn't really want to sell it, but will sell if some fool comes along with bags of money.

Ya know, kinda like when Gurgie listed his SLK...
Hey now, I listed my SLK for the same price as others on the market with similar mileage & even less. Not fantasy island prices like these 911's that are $50k over!

I guess you don't really love your car, then  :stick:
I'm living by Ron's motto now, life is short so I'm gonna try to enjoy as many interesting cars as possible

Fairy Muff = Fair Enough.

You young kids!!   ;D

Got nuffin' to do with being young.

Bob's just weird.  But he makes great coffee, so he gets a pass.

I don't know about 911 cabrios, just never liked the shape. I'd get a Targa, but not a soft top. Even the Speedsters are too hunchbacked for my liking.

My cousin has a 996 cabrio and I always mistake it for a Boxster at first glance or certain angles.   Not that it's a bad thing...it's just not my thing.

This guy is doing it right with his 911 Turbo S:
- specs it in PTS British Racing Green
- orders a higher than standard suspension for comfort
- drives it 333,000 km in just six years!

That ride height does look a bit awkward but that's a solvable problem.

I'm still irritated the seller of the 911 Turbo I was about to buy got greedy and raised the price $10k when I said I'd take it.

Was high mileage but impeccably maintained.

My plan was to run it year round and see how many more KMs I could rack up
How fast is my 911?  Supras sh*t on on me all the time...in reverse..with blown turbos  :( ...

Are they?  Could someone get one for $65K that is in good condition and not get murdered with maintenance costs?  Asking for a friend.

Used to be able to... hopefully be able to again in 2023, or 2024 when this madness ends. Used car prices will have to crash eventually.

A guy I know on another forum who lives in Moncton just picked up this 2017 C2S in Miami Blue. Beautifully specced car. He tried to buy a new 992 but bought this after waiting many months for an allocation.

That's a hell of a garage, too.

Care to say what else is under those car covers?

Yeah, beautiful car and garage.  I love the Miami Blue colour.

I'd say one of the cars undercover is a C7 Vette.  Not sure about the other.

He's a Ford guy, I believe his wife has a Mustang GT and he's got a GT350.

No idea on what he paid but seems like these cars are asking around $130-140k at Porsche dealers.

His has most of the performance options and PDK, no sunroof, and oddly enough, the more basic power seats instead of the sports plus seats.
