Is there a less desirable 911 than a 996 C4 slush box cabriolet?

Nice wheels though.

Still, it's a Carrera 4 - so one heck of a winter beater!

This seems to be priced oddly low   It has the serious racing sport seats, it's a PDK (so a little less desirable), but has the proper sport plus package to get the most out of the PDK, looks like a full leather package as well. Not sure why it's priced about $10k lower than others out there? Accident perhaps? It is originally a US car by the speedometer.

Listing is already gone  :-\

This is a great time to buy sports cars up here - sellers trying to unload before sending them to storage.

Was only posted yesterday on Autotrader & their website... not on either anymore. Guess it sold? Or will it be reposted in a day or two at a higher price?

Yeah, I took my ad down for my SLK a couple of weeks ago because of the low ball offers. Put it up on Kijiji Saturday night & had some interest on Sunday from someone offering me $5k less than my asking price. Told him I'd meet him halfway on that, haven't heard anything back yet

^^I'm extremely grateful and lucky to be in a position to be able to save for a toy. Really it took two decades of careful financial planning to be in this position, plus a two income household with good, steady jobs.

I thought about whether or not I should update this at the risk of looking crass and tacky. But you know what, I did want to be fully transparent with respect to what it actually takes to save for a Porsche. Years and years of savings! Look at the thread, it started in 2019 and I'm still without a Porsche :), while others have pulled the trigger!

So you've got the money, now the problem is getting an allocation.

Crazy that a used '16 GTS is only ~$20k cheaper than a brand new one, but the used one is actually readily available.

No one thinks you are crass or tacky.  We are all pulling for you bud.  If anything you are giving us hope that we too might be able to get that dream car some day.  Now don't :censor: this up.

Jeebus.  That's quite a bit more than my entire yearly pre-tax income, which is the national average, btw, saved in a little over a month.

Good for you, man.

100%. Good for you man. You both work hard, you should enjoy life.

Ideally one of them will go into  a trade to be able to support their old man in his retirement and another will become a doctor specializing in geriatrics and be rich enough to drive you around in the Porsche.    Number three, who knows.

Good for you, man.

I'm very fortunate. You should see the tax bill!.

But also to be clear, I didn't save that over one month...our firm has lumpy bonuses which are a large part of the yearly compensation. I'm able to put this much away because frankly I have no debt. Man, if I was able to save that much over one month I'd already be driving a 992 :)
