Nice! Pretty sure I saw this one advertised and agree it was a great price. This would likely be the one I would get if I went with a pre-2009 model. The IMS stuff concerns be as the 2004-08's are much harder to fix aren't they, though also much less likely to let go?
Roughly 1 percent failure rate.
How fast is my 911?  Supras sh*t on on me all the time...in reverse..with blown turbos  :( ...

On a scale of 1-10 how excited are you about getting this Porsche?  1 being your least favorite vehicle ever and 10 being your most favorite vehicle you have owned.

This is terrible to say..but a 6-7?
I'm not surprised, but it's funny because a lot of people it would be a 9-10.  Just means you have lived a good ljfe.  Looking forward to hearing your impressions and how it compares to your previous sports/fast cars.

Saw this Porsche posted on Facebook Marketplace. Seems too cheap . https://www.facebook.com/marketplace/item/533513547931244/?ref=category_feed&referral_code=marketplace_search&referral_story_type=post
Not too cheap really, it's a convertible 996, so not terribly desirable & then the location probably drives the price down.

^^ Nothing. I live across the harbour.  I was joking, it was part of Gurgie's comment on the market for that Porsche.  ;D

Oh, I guess I missed that.  I was scratching my head trying to figure out why Halifax wouldn't be a good place to buy a Porsche.

Fine place to buy one, not a great place to sell one because the market demand wouldn't be that strong. It would probably fetch an extra $5k in Toronto, or Montreal & maybe $10k more in Vancouver. Just how the pricing goes from East to West.
