Nice Porsche Ron.  Glad you found one that fits the bill.  You'll have to tell us how it compares to your old Porsche and other sports cars you've had.  Looking forward to the show and shine.

At 8:06pm, I just bought my 3rd Porsche!

A huge thanks to Gurgie who immediately got out there to inspect and test the car before it was sold from under me, as there was lots of interest on the car.

Congrats, nice car.

Is the Prius Prime staying? Is this your big car purchase or just to hold your over until next year?

Boss wheels Ron. I know you’ve been looking for that model quite some time.
Good questions Derek!

Since Rrocket let the cat outta the bag, I can give a few impressions before the show'n'shine

The car is great condition, no major visible flaws in the paint or interior. The flat 6 snarl behind your back is intoxicating to listen to, and the car was very well cared for from what I could tell. That's all I'll say for now & let Ron have the rest of the fun once he does the show n shine... if he does actually come up here to pick up the car (last 2 he bought in Ottawa (Wing's ISF & then the TT) were shipped to Windosr) I'll help him take some pictures for the show n shine because we all know how good his photography skills are...  :stick:

Congrats on the Porsche.  Surprised you didn't buy a Toyota SUV and just delay the Porsche a little bit.   ;D :rofl2:

Not too dissimilar to my pic!  ;D

Oh man, just spec'd up my ideal Boxster, the 25 Years edition with $26K of options. Oh baby!

Even at $136K, I think this is such a wonderful car... A future classic IMHO.

Other than SUV's, has anyone on this forum ever bought a new Porsche sports car?  I don't seem to recall seeing any posts about that and I've been around for over a decade.

Very cool choice.

I'm hornier and hornier for a manual, 6-cylinder boxster as the ideal summer fun car.   This one reads like a cherry example.   Congrats!

Still waiting on Jeff...

I've been keeping my eyes on the '87-89 Carreras, just in case one of the next years is a very "good year".

Well even though that's technically used, I think we can agree that's pretty much a new Porsche 911 he bought.

This isn't my big car purchase so to speak since I still have the Prime.

So won't be long term in that regard..probably.
How fast is my 911?  Supras sh*t on on me all the time...in reverse..with blown turbos  :( ...

I am fine with my Prius, as I've always generally had a second car/beater.

I was prepared to hold out until next spring/summer...but I've always like these and they've been on my radar.

And this one was the right mix of condition, mileage and (shockingly) not obscene Covid pricing.

I actually think he should have been asking $5k more based on the car and current market.

So because of that, I jumped on it.

Let me know what your plans are to pick up the car. Would be more than happy to pick you up at the airport & bring you to the car. And have you over for some dinner & drinks if possible. We can get a few of the other Ottawa guys to come over as well.
