Well, more inventory is hitting the market, but asking prices continue to be high. I even noticed some newer high end stuff at Grimsby Chrysler :)

This is definitely not a great year to be buying a used Porsche...
Indeed, that's a lot of $$$ tied up for 4 Porsches in inventory for Grimsby Chrysler.
I wonder what the justification was for that decision?

A certain member of the sales staff wanted to drive them as demos as part of his over-achievement compensation package.  Some get stock options.  Some get Porsches.

Be nice...twoscoops is your HEMI connection no? :)

Actually, there is another Chrysler dealership in Toronto, Downsview I believe, that seems to have a large high end used car inventory. I mean some really high end stuff. It must be a line of business for them.

Some peanut butter on a playing card and a package of Sugar Twin.

And your wife vacuumed out the interior, so it's showroom ready!

Do you guys know if there’s a way to pull build info / options list from a VIN? I know that the 964 is Midnight Blue Metallic on Cobalt leather, but I’d like to find a detailed list somewhere.

Google says Vinanalytics.

This looks good, too. Says all cars from 1981. https://rennlist.com/forums/vindecoder.php

There are others as well. Might not work for older or non North American cars.

There might be someone on Rennlist who can run it for you for a small fee.

Otherwise, if you still have the option code sticker under the frunk hood you can decode the option individually. https://www.stuttcars.com/technical/option-codes/964-91-94/

For a more official document you can request a 'COA' or Certificate of Authenticity from Porsche for around $100 USD.

Wow, THAT'S how much 997s are still worth?! F me, the Porsche tax is real.

They've actually gone up over the past year... like everything else has... 997.2's are very desirable and they were lower production numbers than the early 997.1's. I missed out on a nice clean 997.1 about 2yrs ago in the $38k range... now they're asking $48k for those same cars with more miles.
