I know with some 911s people have swapped in some IS V8s with success.

In the last ~15 years they've opened new dealers in Halifax, London, Saskatoon, North York, Markham, Oakville, Brossard, Richmond, Langley, and now KW. I think they've basically doubled the number of dealers.

Here's a nicely specced and heavily used 997 for $23k USD https://jalopnik.com/at-22-900-could-this-not-a-garage-queen-2005-porsche-1846273086
I can only assume the latter there Oliver.Yeah given the market with Covid it’s probably not a horrible idea to cool the jets on used sport car purchases this year.Of course if the right car and deal comes then so be it.But man. I dunno. 90K for a 10+ year old Porsche? I feel like I’d pay $70 for it.
That's way overpriced for a 997.2 Cabrio... usually the convertibles sell for ~$10k less than the coupes because they're less desirable, can get a 997.1 Turbo vert for less money and a hell of a lot more car!!https://www.autotrader.ca/a/porsche/911/north%20york/ontario/5_48668599_20111115101047209/?showcpo=ShowCpo&ncse=no&ursrc=pl&urp=4&urm=7&pc=K2C%202H8&sprx=500And for $92k this is much nicer - https://www.autotrader.ca/a/porsche/911/mississauga/ontario/19_11762757_/?showcpo=ShowCpo&ncse=no&orup=3_15_64&pc=K2C%202H8&sprx=500

Still, with taxes we're talking about $100,000.You know, this savings for a Porsche thing really drives home how expensive these cars are. Any cars really. When you actually go and save the money to buy a car out right, its certainly hard to let go of the money. For that $100,000 Black Series, I'd have to earn an equivalent of $200,000 !
