A lease would probably be around $2k a month. So a lot.
I don't see anything wrong with driving a 4S in the winter.
Hmmm, I wonder how much $30K down payment would take that payment down. I might be able to convince my wife with a $500 biweekly payment but that would be the max. Also I noticed that it appears if you go with a Carrara 4 you have to get the PDK. I'm only interested in a manual.
Putting money down on a lease is never really a good idea.
yea...if it gets written off, i think you're out that money.
No, insurance will cover this. But in any case, Porsche leases rarely make financial sense.
are you sure though (maybe there is GAP insurance)?...you don't own the car, Porsche does (or whoever handles the leasing), so they get paid for what the car is worth...you're just renting it.
Yes. I think this GAP insurance is standard on leases, otherwise there would be a bunch of people loosing money on leases with any sort of down payment. And have you ever heard something like this happening?
yea, i'm guessing it is mandatory?...i've heard about it, but only as a cautionary tale about leases, not any examples of people who have been in that scenario...although, most people i know buy their cars, not lease them so i haven't really come across it.
