Took mine to Tremblant for some spring skiing once. Roads were bare, it was warm, ski rack was tested to 100mph
Was this before they built the hwy-323 bi-pass at Lac-des-Plages, or after? Cause now there's a few spots where you could wind it out on a nice road... before, not so much

I'm heading to Tremblant later today actually

And if I were to get a Carrera 4, or 4S I'd be very tempted to shod it with winters & drive it all winter. I've seen quite a few tooling around in Ottawa, the best was one with a nice full sized Thule on the roof. I wanted to keep the SLK on the road for the winter & get some winters for it, but was talked out of it. In reality I could've drove it for the most of December without any issues and even. Just wouldn't be able to take it to the ski hill, only way would be with the roof down & skis sticking out of the passenger seat
