^^Hmmm...don't think I really like that particular shade of brown...and it appears to not be the usual metallic brown.  Almost looks like that Porsche brown from the 70s.

Wonder if it's a custom paint order deal?

**EDIT**  This is indeed the 70s Porsche "Sepia Brown".  Paint was special order.

I love the "Brownstone metallic" of my Volt, even if it is not a Porsche  :P

The close up picture below gives a good idea of the paint tone under sun reflect...
Gone but not forgotten in chronological order: 2019 Volt, 2013 Volt, 2014 Spark EV, 2012 Volt and many others before...

Thanks.

These days, most of cars SUV are painted in black, silver, all shades of grey or white. Not much eyes colour catch while I'm driving except for now, we're back to WFH days...   :-\

IIRC, such colour tone palette was more common on high end / luxury end of 2010s.

Unless you could get the steering wheel replaced and add the correct shifter paddles, that would be a hard pass for me.

I think that's the way it was ordered Derek. Personally, I like it when the steering wheel controls for all the cruise and junk are optioned but I'm nit-picking. Heated wheel would also be a bonus.

Yes, I'm starting to realize that I'd settle for some of that stuff (i.e. PDK vs. manual, interior bits and trims) as long as the car is in very good condition, which this example is. Something tells me a PDK 911 cabrio would be pretty fun to tool around with in the summer.

I have no issues with PDK or proper steering wheel controls for things like volume, cruise, etc. But those shifters are complete rubbish and Porsche should be ashamed of ever doing that. If I remember corrrectly, you get a rocker switch on each side with up and downshift on each. Could they have come up with a more stupid idea?

Lots of people change out the wheel to a proper set-up, usually a 991 wheel.

$80K for a lot of compromises.  :-\

Some compromises, but you get:
- Classic 911
- S
- Cabrio
- Unique colour combo
- very low km
- 997.2
- Flat six, non-turbo sound

So quite a lot going for it. Prices have bumped up a bit over the past year. I think if this drops to say $69k, I may bite

You wouldn't regret that tranny setup? I feel like I'd never be truly satisfied.

I'm with you on the rest, tho

No sure. My default answer would be manual or nothing, but I'm starting to be on the fence. For one, it opens up a bunch of other cars available for sale, vs chasing a unicorn. And secondly, that PDK Boxster GTS was a pretty good experience.

agreed...but Pfaff also seems to have some of the best examples of used Porsches...i guess at worst, it gives them more room to move.

Yes, they do have some choice options. Actually there is another 997.2 PDK cabrio...2011 and CPO!

I'd be fine with PDK.

I'm no longer a manual or bust man. Still prefer manual but whatever.

I'm the same, the auto box/flappy paddles on the AMG were really good, and then you can cruise in heavy traffic when you want. The PDK has gotten much better over the years since introduction.

Personally I've really liked the look of 911 cabrios, they look a bit hunchbacked to me. What's the weight distribution like?

Really like the Targa design though.
