Yeah, nothing wrong with the basic spec but I think it explains the price a bit. Most people are looking for an S with sport chrono, full leather, etc.

That one above in particular I've seen for sale for over 1 year. Base or not, a manual 991 Carrera with only 30,000 km for $69,000 should sell quickly. Maybe its the location, but I think there's more to this car than meets the eye.
I love it when a plan comes together.

Yeah, perhaps. I wonder what the deal with it is.

I requested the Car fax yesterday but nothing came via email.
Looks to have memory for the seats, Nav and ventilated Seats too.
Normally I would stay away from Quebec stuff but this one warrants closer inspection.

Do you realize that in about 30 (updated as requested) years, we'll have millions of old ladies running around with tattoos?

Nav was standard in the 991.

Nav was standard in the 991.

Which honestly surprises me.  The Germans are notorious for not including basic items that are standard in many low end cars and making them options, and Nav seems for sure something that would be in an expensive package.

Look at how long most of the German makes kept installing cassette players and charging for a CD player...   :rofl2:

They made a few things standard with the 991 (I think heated seats and satellite radio were the other ones), and made the sunroof optional (it was standard in the 997). A good move IMO.

Still no car fax sent.
So, I called the dealership - no answer - no option for leaving a message. I called again about 3 hrs later - same thing.
What a way to sell cars.

Norden in Edmonton makes you feel like they're doing you a huge favour by even talking to you, much less selling you a car.

Maybe that's why it's not sold! LOL

I once called an ad as soon as it was posted. The guy literally said "I'm leaning for vacation tomorrow...call me in 2 weeks".  WTF?
How fast is my 911?  Supras sh*t on on me all the time...in reverse..with blown turbos  :( ...

Just looking, especially after my Porsche fund went to purchase a condo last Fall.
Besides, I would need to sell the G first, not enough garage space.
My next vehicle purchase will be for my Daughter, unless she ends up in residence this Fall at McGill.

You'd need to know more.

You could run up $40k pretty easily on a new 911 IMO...especially if the repair was done at one of the Porsche certified places

Unfortunately in Porscheland that's a big blemish and will impact the exit plan / liquidity.
