Wood trim though? Eww.

I know! This one has been for sale for several months, originally listed at $56k. I think location and that wood trim definitely hurt it ... wonder how low they would go, and how much it would cost to replace all the wood bits. Mainly steering wheel, handbrake, gear shift and some dash trim.

Replace wheel and wrap the rest?

I like the wood, in this particular configuration. I would leave it alone.
I love it when a plan comes together.

Agreed, I think it looks suitable for a red convertible.    Gives it some old school charm.

Old carmine red perhaps...

Speaking of colour, what do you guys think is the most under-the-radar colour for a Porsche?

I personally love colour, my 335 is a nice estoril blue and a long time ago I actually painted one of my cars from brown to yellow! But If I get a Porsche, particularly as a daily, I'd like to attract the least amount of attention.

If you're looking for something not-flashy I'd be looking at blue or brown. Understated but not white/silver/grey/black.

Blue would be nice...

I've said to myself I'd never buy a black car, but I'm sinfully being drawn to those black edition 911s...help

Speaking of black...don't know if it's had any accidents but this looks to be a good price.

Do you realize that in about 30 (updated as requested) years, we'll have millions of old ladies running around with tattoos?

what was that (year?)...why did you get rid of it (just wanted to move on to the next toy?)...i've always loved 911s.

Looks like a very basic spec. 20" wheels, 14 way seats, and Bose stereo are the only options I can spot but it's hard to tell with those pics.

^^That's the way I like it.

It's was extremely hard for me to find a base 911 with just leather and LSD

Same here...I'd ideally like a base 911...lately a nice 997.2. Nothing fancy, just a nice daily

Yeah, nothing wrong with the basic spec but I think it explains the price a bit. Most people are looking for an S with sport chrono, full leather, etc.
