I'd probably go with Ruby Star

Or maybe Mint.

Mexico Blue is always a great choice too.

So, contacted my sales person where I have my deposit. According to him things are really slow for sports cars as far as allocations. But I changed my order to include paint to sample PTS, which he said may help to secure an allocation sooner. Makes sense as they would prioritize higher margin orders.

Not sure how I feel about it. Kind of excited as PTS would make the car very unique...but on the other hand we're entering mission creep as it adds $$$ onto the final price, should I ultimately go through with this venture.
The longer you have to wait, the more you should have saved, so at least there is that.  Any idea what color you are leaning towards?

Albert Blue, Nardo Grey, Signal Yellow...so much to choose from. In one sense, it has to be unique. Ideally a colour, as opposed to a grey, but maybe not. I don't know. It's a bit of a rabbit hole...

Actually I didn't ask about European delivery. I think I will since what the heck $$$$$

There was an Albert Blue 718 Spyder for sale a while back, it looked great. I definitely think you should get a real colour.

That's a fantastic colour!

I'd go old school with the standard Guards Red... been around forever!! Can't remember how many 951's I looked at in that colour before I bought mine

For whatever reason I'm loving greens and purples recently on vehicles.  Maybe it's because I have red and orange crossed off my list and I feel like blue is just so easy to obtain.  So like the British Racing Green or Ultra Violet would be two of my favorite choices right now.  Not saying I'd pull the trigger on either, because I know I'd likely just get the no charge yellow color instead.

What about European delivery?

Sales person just confirmed European delivery is possible. So I signed up...or whatever that means at this point (i.e. no production slot).

My 2 cents, I agree with the others, if you’re going to go to the expense I would choose a real colour as well.  When we got the XKR used the dealer made such a big deal about the “custom” grey,  who knows if that’s even true, didn’t care enough to really check against the standard list, it’s grey!  We really like it and it has some nice qualities to it, but it’s still just grey.

Yes, I think it has to be both a colour and unique, if I'm paying $$$$$ for it

Not a huge fan of Miami blue.

The 2013 XKR press car was the same colour as yours... whatever that means. Wonder if it's the same car!

Interesting!  Do you mean this one?  I can't tell if the colour is the same, but the interior has red stitching which ours doesn't

I wonder if it was real?

Last one I saw was on a VW Beetle chassis, was at least  a foot taller than it should have been. :P

There’s a big car event tomorrow morning, with Chris Harris attending. 1000 cars or so maybe on his way there?
