Out of curiosity, what’s a fair price for that car?

I think $75k is probably about right. It's nicely optioned and has low KMs.

Porsche dealers are asking $90k+ for later 997.2 cars.

Edit: Here's a very nice 997.1 with 100k on it for $57k. https://finder.porsche.com/ca/en-CA/details/porsche-911-carrera-s-preowned-J2V9OK

Well, pre-pandemic that was a $55k car because of the low mileage & how its optioned out. The 997.1's gotta bad rap for the IMS bearings so their value was dropping, and there was A LOT of them made, especially the 2005, there was over 10,000 S coupes made. For 2008 that number dropped to just over 3000, so a little more rare.

Makes sense. That one for $57k is also pretty attractive.

Choosing a car based on reliability is like choosing a wife based solely because she is punctual. There is more to it than that...

I'm the 3rd owner of my Porsche with less than 100k.

I don't think 3 owners in about 14 years is excessive.

YMMV.
How fast is my 911?  Supras sh*t on on me all the time...in reverse..with blown turbos  :( ...

Lots of Porsche owner's park their cars in winter...so the kms might be low relative to age.

That's not a dealer, that's a guy who loves his car and doesn't really want to sell it, but will sell if some fool comes along with bags of money.

Ya know, kinda like when Gurgie listed his SLK...

The price might be slightly more realistic if it was a coupe.

Hey now, I listed my SLK for the same price as others on the market with similar mileage & even less. Not fantasy island prices like these 911's that are $50k over!
