Was finally able to go pick up the Macan today! It's a new 2018 with 64km's on it, but classified as used with the 6 year CPO warranty. Sapphire blue/black, main options are Premium Plus Package, 20"Spyder wheels, black pack and roof rails, lane change assist, BOSE surround, and 18 way sport seats.
Absolutely love the colour, looks amazing in person, and even though would have preferred something other than black interior, it does look good with the blue. I've never had any experience with Porsche, but the fit and finish of everything really is impressive. The interior is completely vault like on the 401. The sport seats to me are AWESOME, although the tight bolstering makes getting in and out a little more challenging.
The drive is like night & day from the Evoque, it has such a planted but not jarring feel rather than the "floaty" feel I'm used to. I took it on a spin on the twisty roads around my house and the handling is unbelievable for a SUV, looking forward to exploring it some more. Power delivery was super smooth, but I'm hoping it gets a little more exciting as the engine gets broken in, it didn't "feel" as fast as I was expecting. I'm going to play around with the PDK, my cars have always been manuals and SUV's I just put in D and go, admittedly I've never even tried a paddle! Who knows, maybe I'll be a convert?
