Well, nice to see someone on the forum get one!  ;D Cool car, and my wife still talks about getting one someday.  Man, they are a rare beast around these parts though.  I've seen only two in the flesh that I can remember.  Saw the one in the pic last summer and waited a bit for the owner to come out to inquire about it but took too long so i booked off.  :P

Great big engine stuffed into a tiny car; what's not to like?  :skid:

There was an SLK around our neighbourhood years ago not too long after they first came out. The driver looked to be fairly old (75+/-) and the plates read "LANC 43". Someone told me he was ex Bomber Command. I always thought that was very cool.
