Thanks for all the info.  No beating it.  Just need to suck it up.  $100 per mat tax in.  :P  particularly on a lease.  ::) :P  My age and up bringing makes these small individual purchases irritating.  I'm great on the big stuff.  :-X   ;D

Ordered a set of floor mats for my KIA Forte from Findway today. Seems I got the last set. The price was great. I hope I like them.

I glad I got mine but I went on the check web site for availability for other cars. It seems their stock is very limited and they have mats for just a few models of each brand. For example for 2019 BMW models they only have products for the X6. Same is true for other car makes. Makes me wonder how viable this company is.

You get it for your car like the product and then tell your friends and they find out there is no product available. This really sucks. How do they expect to stay in business?

Got my new Findway floor liners on Monday. The ones I ordered are the carpeted floors liners. They are not pure rubber like a Weathertech mat. The first thing I noticed when I picked up the box was how light they are. Anyways.... finally stop raining long enough for me to vacuum my car and put them in yesterday. They fit beautifully. Nice and tight and well designed. Lets hope they do the trick and hold up during a Montreal winter.

They seem very nice. I like the fact that they have a carpeted look to them. I suspect I will leave them in the car year round. Having  never had liners before I cannot judge if they are the best but for $120 I got complete set front and back delivered. That is good value for sure.

It is too bad they do not seem to have product for many car models. I was thinking maybe the product shortage is related to COVID production problems. I hope so because I think I would buy these again for my next car.

After 3 winters mine are still holding up.  I've had to glue down the plastic pad, but that's it.

I MUCH prefer them to the Weather Techs I had in the Mazda5, they were disappointing from a fit perspective and I really didn't like the hard plastic.

I remove the fronts during the summer and just leave the rear ones in place, because kids.

I got them for my 5 as well. I definitely like that it looks and feels like regular carpet. Wanted them in the 3 as well but they sold out and are not making more.

Update on my Findway mats. It is a bad news / good news story.

After less than a year and about 5000 kms the rubber foot guard (by gas and brake) came loose from mat and fell off. The good news is I called Findway and they are shipping me a new mat for driver's side tomorrow.

So bad news on product but very good customer service.

Mine did that as well. I glued it down but eventually it separated again, so I just removed it. It seems to be wearing just fine.

Well I find myself back at this distasteful but necessary floor liner PIA.  Checked out Findway.ca but there seems to be no option for just the front row.  Weather Techs fit well, but I too don't love the hard plastic.  Findway units appear to be made of more pliable rubber rather than plastic, but they only sell them as a 3 row set.  I might phone them and see if I can weasel just the fronts.

^^^I think Ron secretly works for Maxpider.

They are really nice, though.  I bought a set for the Mazda.  Higher quality than the WeatherTechs.  I have no idea how they compare to Findway mats, because I've never tried Findway.

I second that.  I've had Maxspider in the X5 since new (winter of 2017-18) and they are holding up well. The only complaint is that the driver's mat seems to have absorbed a bot of the salt stains and won't come completely clean.

I have Findway in one car and WeatherTech in the other (WT fronts only). Findway are of lesser quality and the material absorbs and keeps some winter salt stain, despite multiple cleaning methods, while WeatherTech is easy to clean completely. The downside of course is the WeatherTech hard plastic, and on the passenger side there is nothing holding the 'tray' steady, which is annoying for the passenger getting in. Both are a substantial improvement over normal mats/winter rubber mats however!

Hadn't heard of Maxpider before, will have to check those out next time.

Thx, I did, but not available.  :P  I just need the fronts.  The other suppliers seem to sell them only in full sets.

I had Maxpiders and think they are definitely the best looking mats out there.  Functionally, they provide excellent grip and protect the carpets well.  Durability though?  In both the Fit and the Genesis the driver's side mats showed noticeable wear after 2 years and were ready for the dumpster after 3 and a half or so.  The central heel rest pad peeled back on both and the mat itself was soft and worn thin in that spot.  Maybe that's as much as I should expect but I was kinda dissapointed - I've had cheap-but-thick Canadian Tire mats last 5 years.  WeatherTech in the front of both cars now.  Not as posh but not going to come apart anytime soon.

That's the thing for me. Ya, the thick industrial rubber mats are durable.

But I find them to be an eyesore. Just not aesthetically pleasing.

Anybody try Tuxmat? I have Huskys in my STI and love them, but they're not available yet on the 2022 MDX. Weathertech is available but from pics, the coverage isn't as good.  Tuxmat seems to cover more but haven't heard any reviews of them. Maxpider not available yet either.

Findway is cheap enough for the whole set, so just put the back ones on Kijiji for free.

Whole set, all 3 rows is $317.  tax in.  Just got off the phone with them and after some deliberation they declined to just sell me just the two fronts.  ::)   These were their rubberized ones.  The one's you guys were talking about mostly with the carpet are not available.  So placing the order with WeatherTech.  Gotta have something.   With the heavy amount of snow and salt the OEM mats are useless.  Carpet will never try out and it's just not fair to to the vehicle.  :D

On top of that I may be acquiring an additional vehicle so it's actually double that.

Oh. Yeah, that's not cheap.  Mine were $110+tax for the front and back.

Shame they've discontinued the older style.  I quite like the microfiber carpet like materials.

Like Ron says, the Weathertechs are very industrial looking particularly with ambient lighting. :o     However TUXMATs are the same, all 3 rows or fack off.  About $450. shipped.

What's wrong with these ppl.  Why all or nothing.  Charge a premium for the front only.  Fackers!

Well the crane has arrived and now I can get my mind of this irritating BS.  :)   Pics to follow in DIY thread.
