Nice color combo  :)

No more Costco fill-ups with a diesel though - I had to make a few detours when I had my TDI.

Looks like a million bucks, and I'm sure it drives like it too, congrats again!

looks fantastic, what a nice interior. Road trips would be a pleasure in this thing. Congrats 'Mango

why not?

the Costco station here sells diesel (at every pump).

Guess it varies. The 23 pumps in Ancaster do not.

Congrats Vmango!

Always nice to get a vehicle from family/friends.

I did the same, but two and a half years in and we've been good.  *knocks wood*

I don't know if the ML is the same, but gas in our TDI is very bad news.  Basically it destroys the HPFP (due to lack of lubrication) and that results in metal fragments being sent through the fuel system.  All of it needs to be replaced and $8k is the number I have seen.  Terrifying indeed.

Mrs. Mango is pretty good. I used to get calls from her from the gas station making sure she was putting in the appropriate octane. Better safe than sorry.

Also, insurance on this about $400 more a year than the MDX.

Hmmmm, went up? Guess cause of the replacement value? Mine went down a bit with the Passport, like $18 or something silly.

Looks good.

I'm wondering if your front bars are too far forward? On my oem roof bars the bars would be close to level.

I bet the bars are the far forward to let the hatch open with a ski box on top.

Looks great!!

I'd put the front bars right at the B-Pillar & then put the rears back a bit further as well. With the front bars at the B-Pillar you'll have less noise above your head. See  what the specs are on your box for minimum bar spacing, usually its 24". Basically you want the front bars as far back as possible when the box is on & you can still open the hatch.
