Toyota announced it’s making its Dynamic Torque Control AWD system (pulled from the 2019 RAV4) available as a standalone option on the Camry LE, XLE, SE and XSE, as well as on the brand’s flagship sedan, the Avalon Limited, both of which are built at the Toyota plant in Kentucky.

Good move. An AWD Avalon would not be hard to live with.
If they pair this to that awesome V6, this would be an awesome little car.

Whenever a sedan gets replaced on our street, its by some horrible, shapeless CUV blob. I'm not saying that this is the standard for all of Canada, but the way sales are going, sedans are going the way of the dodo.
The last time Toyota had AWD on the Camry (all track) I believe it was also 4 cylinder only. At least it could be had with a manual.
