2020 Toyota Yaris
« on: October 16, 2019, 06:13:18 pm »
Some interesting features for a sub-compact.  LI-ion Hybrid, AWD, self parking etc.  On the new TNGA platform.

Wonder if it's coming here??

Meh looks about the same as the one rrocket posted. I wonder if it's a toyota  or mazda powerplant? I see it's direct injection now.

Correct. Even made in a Mazda plant in Mexico, alongside the Yaris sedan aka Mazda2 sedan.

I'd seriously consider one. Well-sized, finally redesigned and brought up to date, and looks good inside and out

But I already have a car and no plans to replace it.

I see that this is on the Toyota site and you can now "Build & Price". However it shows only being in Quebec and anyone else  can contact their local dealer to order one.
Anyone have any background on this selective marketing? Is this a short term situation or is Toyota expecting non-Quebec customers  to order a car without a test drive?
