They have that already man. You’re making it sound like the interior is covered in plastic. It’s not. This about managing expectations.

As has been said, $100k creates some expectations regarding interior quality.  The C8 is pretty much straight A's everywhere else.  Not here.  Nobody has said it's garbage Tupperware quality.  But some have noted that it is a bit less than expected / hoped for in terms of interior quality in a six figure car.

When I reach under the seat to fish out the toonie that rollout out of my track pants...I expect my hands to brush up against material that feels like silk...:)

Toonie!?!? You're a high roller  :stick:  :rofl2:

In all seriousness though, Porsche for example, through their Exclusiv program offers under seat covered in silky ball skin, in several shades, for $4500...

Where is this six figures talk coming from?  I thought the Corvette was starting at $69 998 in Canada?  2LT and 3LT are $80k and $85k respectively....

With options they can be above six figures, and the inevitable Z06 will likely start just below that.

I think the interior quality is likely fine but it's a bit strange that GM doesn't really seem to care about it.

Let's face it, the C7 is a brutally fast car. It's already running with big dogs, and there's no way the C8 is going to be leaps and bounds faster. There just aren't many cars that can say that, period.

What the C8 brings is a new chassis that can take the Vette well into the future.

Maybe Toyota will take note bring back an MR2....

Even the 1994 version of that car is still awesome.

5. Can GM have all their engineers and product designs serve time with the Camaro/Corvette gangs?  They need this kind of passion infused into all their products.

Funny you say that.  The DSSV shocks that are on the Colorado ZR2 were originally developed for the Camaro 1LE ZR1.

Truth be told...while ugly, the Spyder could hang with a Boxster.

They were on the 5th gen Z/28 first.

That car seems like it's fallen through the cracks.  I always forget about it.

Saw one the other day, couldn't tell what it was from a distance since it's been so long since I've thought about that car.

Point is, at least the chassis engineers seem to talk to each other.  At least as far as the performance divisions are concerned.

The Truth About Car's....holy, I had a good laugh at that one, especially to dispute anything from a source like C&D.

A good 911 VS C8 test. I think we all know who won.
