Tire Replacement Question
« on: September 15, 2019, 01:57:45 pm »
Hello, I have a 2013 SanteFe Sport Limited with Goodyear Assurance 235/55R19 101V tires that are directional type.
The back passenger tire is ruined and can't be fixed. All tires have about 5/32 of tread left. Can I replace just the one tire or should two be replaced under the circumstances I listed?

Thanks

Two new tires would be the bare minimum.

But I assume you don’t have another set of winter tires for winter? If that’s the case, 5/32” isn’t much tread. It’s time for four new tires.

yea, once your tires get to 4/32, it's time to start looking for tires...since it's so close, might as well just get new rubber on there.

You may want to look into some new Hercules tires. Inflate to the sidewall pressure for a smooth no-bump ride.

Not trying to be funny, but is there a chance there is a full size spare tire in un-used condition somewhere under the trunk floor?
