That’s what I noticed weeks ago unfortunately, no mention of Avalon TRD from Toyota Canada.

I believe TFL was saying that it's the cheapest way to get into a Camry V6.

yea, same here...the XSE trim is about $40k, so it's actually cheaper than the trim level it's based on (it's an optional package, but is actually less expensive)...you do lose toys, but gain the performance bits...in the end, it's about the same money as a GLI.

Actually my bad - I misread and thought you were talking about the Avalon TRD being $36k.  Still a solid deal on the Camry, though.

yes, and that's the case here too...it's basically $1000 more than the 4 cylinder XSE model...i didn't go over the spec sheets to see what toys you are missing, but that TRD trim for $36k seems like a pretty good deal.
