Give a man a fish, he eats for a day. Teach the man to fish and he wakes you up at 5 in the morning.

not sure what they will sell for here, but i think they look and sound pretty good.

This V6 does sound like a smooth, well sorted engine. I'm not sure about that Camry's spoiler though, looks a bit over the top, like it would make sense on a 2 door Civic, but on a family sedan?

Is this one of the last mid-size sedans left with a decent, honest-to-goodness V6?

I think Maxima still has one but its pricing gets into Infiniti territory.

Is there statistics on what % of Camrys are sold with a V6, because I don't see many on the road around GTA.

1)Wow just when you couldn't think a car could get more fugly and the interior just looks nasty.
2) At what speed does a rear spoiler become effective?
3) Unfinished gooseneck trunk hinges, not a fan of those.

yea, the spoiler on the Camry is a bit much, but i don't hate it...i actually like the looks of the Avalon, but i'd probably like the Camry equally too if it were available in a red/black combination.

Can I fit that TRD exhaust on my Fusion?  It's just mufflers right?  Need more sound clips!

The take-rate of the V6 in the Camry had been sitting around 15% IIRC. Not sure if that's changed recently as others have dropped theirs.

Most people don't wind out their motors in traffic, so a turbo 4 tuned for low end torque is going to feel stronger than a V6 that needs a few revs before the power comes on, all other things being equal.

I don't see the person considering a Camry or Avalon to be particularity interested in performance. Mid-size mainstream performance cars just can't seem to find traction anymore.
On some great and glorious day the plain folks of the land will reach their heart's desire at last, and the White House will be adorned by a downright moron.

Agreed, the Avalon looks really good to me. I question who the target demographic is?

I was watching something on YouTube, and apparently people in Texas/Southern US love V6 Camry's/Avalons. .  Apparently dealerships would put on fancy wheels and body packages, and have no problems selling them at huge mark-ups.  The TRD is basically that from the factory, for less money.

Is it just me who thinks that Avalon looks way better than Camry on this video?

I agree, the Avalon doesn't look like a barge with the sporty bits put on.

I actually really like the look of the TRD Avalon and if I wanted a lux FWD sedan it would be near the top of my list. Excellent value.

I've seen a couple of Camry XSE around...with the 2 tone paint scheme.

Looks really good in person...especially the white with black roof one.
How fast is my 911?  Supras sh*t on on me all the time...in reverse..with blown turbos  :( ...

Point taken although it is a form follows function kind of thing.  What type of function does a giant gaping grill with fake air inlets serve?grill (plastic blocked off). Imagine if Toyota had a talented designer...

Maybe they can pull the guy who penned this out of retirement.
