That is unfortunate. First time I test drove co-worker Tesla Model 3 was Sept. 2018 with 374km on the odo, he still love it and he told me, he likes having PTC heater, not efficient as heat pump but very quick.

He was the 1st with a TM3, then was a 2nd, now a third this week and a new employee came with a Model Y too.

The only challenger I have about "my" (read the first and only one yet) charging station or EVSE was a newer employee with a Mitsubishi Outlander PHEV but I have established a protocol (!) ;D, I charge my Volt first in AM, he does in PM,  just switch the cable from one vehicle park to the other.

Gone but not forgotten in chronological order: 2019 Volt, 2013 Volt, 2014 Spark EV, 2012 Volt and many others before...

The Indy told me that PTC failures are common but he sees them in cars with 200K or more on the odo. He was surprised that mine failed so soon. I still don't understand how a baseboard heater can fail.

Maybe Musk had some of his micro managing touch on the design of this part? LOL [emoji38]

Someone was a little over zealous turning a corner and clipped my wife's Model3 last year.  It was a 20-ish year old who was pretty freaked out about it and wanted to just pay for the damage himself. So my wife called me and I told her no matter what it's going to take 7 years and cost 10 grand, which I guarantee this kid doesn't have!

I was close, took 3 months and cost $8500. We just rolled over 102,000 KM on our 2018 RWD LR. The only maintenance so far was the cabin filter and a few in-warranty things that some "tesla dude named cyrus" recommends you get the service department to look at before the warranty is up.

We replaced the rear window as it had a chip in it that was apparently our fault. I guess it was from flying down the 401 while driving backwards?

The passenger seat recline switch broke off so that and the rear window were the only two things 'that went wrong' so far.
2019 Mazda 3 GS-L, 2013 Ram 1500 and an EV that cost 5 times what my Mazda3 costs but is louder with a crappier interior.

The counter is now at 4th TM3 at work, the 3rd in line recent add-on are base model white appliance  ;)
I guess the recent price cut plus admissibility back on Fed rebate, has a noticeable impact.

Bingo!

Without the corporate welfare on these, they don't sell well.

My model 3 is in for repairs. Someone hit it when it was parked last year and the part has finally arrived.

They have given me a Jetta loaner. The 2019 Model 3 is superior or far superior to the 2022 Jetta in all ways except one (sound insulation).
People complain about the lack of buttons on the Model 3. Using the controls on the Jetta was slow, clunky and confusing.  It is like comparing IoS/Android user interfaces  of today to Blackberry from the mid-2000's

Edit: It is 2022 Jetta with 44K on it. When i started the car yesterday i get the following errors:

Auto Start/Stop Failure
Auto Headlight Failure

I was willing to live with it.

This morning while driving to work i noticed that the car beeps like crazy when stopped at red light, then the parking brake engages itself and i get a message "Warning engine is running"
Plan to go to Enterprise today and swap it for a Honda or a Toyota.

We had a 2022 BMW X3 as our loaner when they fixed our bumper. My wife hated that thing...but I liked it!

In Quebec Tesla sold more Model 3 than Honda Civic’s.

.

I bet Quebec sold more F-150s than Civics too....

Crazy how well the Model 3 sells considering it's what, a low to the ground mid sized 4 door sedan?

Pretty much the most unpopular body style you can pick nowadays

Got the car back yesterday

Trunk wont open. Bodyshop said its nothing to do with the work they did. Opened a service appt with Tesla. Apparently, there is a recall. Will be fixed for free at home (no need to go to dealer)

We got 2X Model Y's than 3 in our neck of the woods and we are definitely not an upscale neighborhood but not social housing either. The X's and S's are rare. Only 2 and 1
