Yeah very frustrating, apparently the newer model 3 have heat pumps and this is part no longer used on newer model 3's
That is unfortunate. First time I test drove co-worker Tesla Model 3 was Sept. 2018 with 374km on the odo, he still love it and he told me, he likes having PTC heater, not efficient as heat pump but very quick.
He was the 1st with a TM3, then was a 2nd, now a third this week and a new employee came with a Model Y too.
The only challenger I have about "my" (read the first and only one yet) charging station or EVSE was a newer employee with a Mitsubishi Outlander PHEV but I have established a protocol (!)
, I charge my Volt first in AM, he does in PM, just switch the cable from one vehicle park to the other.
