Everything else is a specific model - except this. The whole line up I guess.  :rofl2:

None of those cars had ever been on my list of cars to look at.

I am surprised that the Suburban is on this list and its stablemates.   Yukon XL and so on are not.   I would have thought that those decade old body on frame trucks with their even older V8s and slushbox transmissions would have been good reliable buys.

Ouch:

28. Alfa Romeo Giulia
We loved driving the energetic Alfa Romeo Giulia when we had a chance to test it, as it’s a terrific performer. But it’s lacking in terms of comfort and cabin ergonomics. Worse, it gets a dismal reliability rating from Consumer Reports. Some auto reviewers reported encountering mechanical issues during their evaluations. In fact, we know someone who was considering buying a Giulia and had not one, but two models off the dealer’s lot break down during a test drive. The Audi A4, Acura TSX, and Mercedes-Benz C-Class models are less dicey alternatives

Scion is Toyota, although the iQ is discontinued.

A lot of the vehicles on the list are old in terms of model years running, unreliable, or discontinued. The WRX is an odd addition to the list.

What the hell is wrong with the ILX? I mean, I'd probably rather have a Civic but how is that an avoid-at-all-costs car?  Did it catch chronic breakdown disease from an Alpha?

LOL....I've owned one car in the list for 12 years with no reliability problems whatsoever (Outlander),  one for 3 years with no issues during the lease period (Focus) and one that I want for my next lease (Discovery Sport).

How did I survive without Forbes' wisdom? Must be a miracle!

7 out of 10 = avoid at all costs?  ::)  There must be a LOT of cars with worse scores that aren't on this must-avoid list.

And I don't scoff at JD Power.  It's hardly a comprehensive assessment of reliability but it's far from meaningless.

I listen to Scotty on YouTube.  I heard he is a former Canadian now living in Texas.

I only like some models of Ford and Toyota.  IMHO everything else is JUNK!!!!   ;D

My Mom had a Discovery Sport for four years, and didn't have too many problems with it.  Time spend at the dealership wasn't any more than any other car.  She liked it.

I say as long as you lease it and plan on returning it before the warranty is up, have fun.  It's a nice car.
