going to be tough to argue the value there...supercar performance, half the price.
When you've lost the argument, admit defeat and hit the smite button.

More like 1/3.

I'm not sure there's any mid-engine supercars for under $200k. Possibly a very base McLaren.

72K for a mid engine Corvette?  no F&&k!ng way.  I though this was going to be in the $150k range.   it's it is it will be a steal!

Closest thing would be the Cayman GT4.

But down 50 horsepower and something like $40K USD more.

Everything else is big time money.

$41k CAD, but yeah. This will eclipse the GT4's performance.

I'd still rather have the GT4 though.  ;D

If you don't have GT4 money though, the Corvette is base Cayman money and I'd rather have the Corvette than a base Cayman.. But in that price range I would probably buy a M2 anyways.

This thing is quite the bargain, fast, looks exotic and all that. I would still rather a C5-6 Z06 in yellow please!!
Lighten up Francis.....

You'd rather a C6 vs. C5...trust me.

I'm really not that picky, 400+ hp V8 and a very competent chassis, I'm in.

C6 is way better than C5, but that's why C5 prices are so low. As a base for building a performance car, the C5 makes a lot of sense because the platform is strong and the modding community is so strong.

GM rocks when it comes to bargain performance. The Camaro is insanely good value. "A $55K Camaro is great value?"  Uh, when it includes a ripping V-8 and one of the best chassis sold under $150K, yes. The C7 Corvette was of course not as good for bang:buck as the Camaro, but still stellar.

And now GM launches a McLaren competitor for 1/3 the money?  Diggety.

Plus none of the pitfalls of all that glass cannon euro crap. This should be Honda Accord compared to the other "exotics".

I've been in a C5, yes, the interior plastics/fit weren't great, but the seats were decent, so was the shifter and steering wheel, gauges were clear, that HUD is cool, stereo sounded ok. I guess it wouldn't be such a huge detractor for me.

Throw in some race seats and it’s fine. Especially with a cam.

I still love the notchback on the C5 z06. I'd love a 2004
It's really not. It's more than the seats too.

C6 all day long! Plus the extra HP doesn't hurt!

I loved loved loved the C5 when it came out. The C6 makes it look very dated in every way.
