These are cool little things. 80hp though.

Something that might need to be addressed is Japanese receptacles are 100V and 50Hz in some parts of Japan, but 60Hz in others, which is frankly a little odd. Some stuff will work, some won't.

keep in mind though, when this was new, Mustang GTs "only" made 225 HP...even the Pinzgauer 6x6, which is almost unstoppable off road, only had 105 HP.

the Toyota was a diesel?...it likely would have had a decent amount of torque too then (relative to its time).

I bet it would move along just fine with 80hp, probably better than those VW Westfailia Vanagons do.

I saw a nice one for sale a few weeks ago and briefly thought it might be neat to have for our upcoming trip to NF, but then I came to my senses.  ;D
