The Lord giveth...and the NDP taketh away. We used to be a one plate province, then the NDP got voted in. Now we're back to being a 2 plate province (gotta be 15 yrs or more by now). Hmmm...maybe the current PC's will make us plateless again. And when the people get PO'd we'll (and by that I mean "they'll" whoever they is 'cause I aint ever voting NDP) vote NDP in and we'll be a two plate province again.
But seriously...think of the children! With all those epidermic bus passers, how are you going to know who hit your kid if there isn't a license plate stamped into their...ok that's too morbid.
And as far as the cops are concerned, at least in NB, there's like what, 10, 20 thousand people?
Shouldn't be to hard to find, unless they're good at hiding in the bush.
Cop: "Hey, who hit you?"
You: "Eh...it was Ernie over dehr from Woodstock. He was toodling along a wee bit too fast in his Subaroo, came up over the hill and ran right into me and took right off eh, dented my quarter panel something good too. Jumpins* what a hoser."
*it's the only word I know from NB. My sister says (said) it ALL the time...jumpins!! Jumpins this...jumpins that...WTF! What is "jumpins"? It's as versatile as the f word. And cleaner sounding too.
At least it's better than Saskatchewan's bunny hugs or gonch.
