I'm out to do the XC-40 with it.

Damn, looks good.  So, how would you say it compares to a traditional paste wax, as in the results?  I get that the application is probably a little quicker (although I don't find paste wax that much of a PITA to use).  Are the results as good?  Does it last longer (I find paste wax keeps its shine for a few days, then dulls off...)

And how long did it take you?  It took me about an hour to wax the truck yesterday with a standard paste wax...

From the video it looks to me like application is WAY quicker than paste wax.

I will add my thumbs up.
It was already a clean car, took me about 15 minutes this morning to apply.  Small car with no roof helps, but it is quick and easy to do.
Gives an amazing shine

Looking forward to your experiences and how long the shine lasts.

Longer than wax, because it's a sealant too. It's also more hydrophobic than wax.

I put it I'm on the windshield and it's darn near like Rain-X.

My paint was still shiny and bright after 6 months. I'd call this the equivalent to a poor man's ceramic treatment.

And for fun those who have used it? Take a water bottle and empty it in the hood or fender and be amazed at the water sheeting ability.

And I would have said something sooner, but I wanted to make sure the claims were legit.

Am glad you guys are getting great results!

How does it compare to Hydrosilex?
I've not personally used it, so I have no idea.

I'll bring out my pom poms and join the cheer squad.  ;D

Mine was not a 10 min job because I had to deal with getting rid of those damned brown iron spots that plague white cars.  >:(

This product worked a treat.  Spray on, watch the brown spots turn purple as they dissolve, wipe clean, rinse:

The only PITA is you wash your car before use, then wash it again after.

The Ultimate Fast Finish was a cake walk from that point, though.  I will say it is a bit hard to use on a white car only because the hazing is so faint, you can't really see where you've applied the product.  Really excellent results, though.  If it works even half as well as I hope, given the minimal investment in cost and effort, I will be well pleased.

Very intrigued.

So let's say I have to do paint correction, ie polishing with DA machine, once I do that would I apply a sealant and then this stuff?

No, just this stuff. It's a sealant/gloss hybrid.

buying some today after i detail the Alfa

excited to see the results
If driving an Alfa does not restore vitality to your soul, then just pass the hospital and park at the morgue to save everyone time.

Now drives a Jaaaaaaag...and thus will not pay for anything during an outing...but it is OK, because....I drive a Jaaaaaag.

How does this stuff smell?  I use Iron-X which works great on the spots but man does it ever have a strong chemical odor that lingers.

No probs.  Trying to attack those little rust pits with a clay bar takes freaking forever.  Additional tip: directions say spray the whole car at once.  Don't do this unless the car is a Miata.  Once this stuff starts to dry it is a lot harder to remove.  Do half at most.

I'll have to try that AutoGlym stuff.  Noticed a lot of iron dust when I was waxing the truck last Friday.
