Review: Meguiar's Ultimate Fast Finish
« on: May 31, 2019, 04:11:59 am »
I know I've been a bit of a broken record since trying Meguiar's Ultimate Fast Finish..but if you're only going to buy one product this year...this is the one!

I think this is probably the single greatest car care product I've used. And I've got not qualms in thinking this should be in their professional line...it's that's good.

You simply can't believe how easy this product goes on and off. The term "wipe on, wipe off" might be overused in car care products, but this product defines it. You simply spray some onto the included high quality microfiber cloth, wipe, then flip the cloth over and wipe clear. The simple application reminds me of rubbing alcohol. When you rub it on a surface it hazes ever so slightly then begins to evaporate before the eyes. It's about as thin as alcohol too. And it almost wipes itself off.

And you're left with a spectacular, liquid like shine in less time than it takes to quick detail your car. Even better, the beading properties have lasted me at least 6 months. Yep..no joke.

I re applied tonight..mainly because I was bored. I was barely through the cigar and the car was finished.

Night time in my garage isn't the best for pictures (because it doesn't show the metallic gold flake) but here's a few. I'll get some more tomorrow if the weather cooperates. I also notice an odd illusion from the door seams. The small radii on either side reflects the light...which causes them to appear white. It's difficult to see on my photo...but if you look just so it's visible.

It looks even better on freshly corrected paint..which I've yet to do after the winter. But in the mean time to keep the car looking amazing this is the way to go.

I don't think there's a better product on the market for $25 that has the ease of use and performance of this product.

Go now...buy some and see for yourself.

will give this a try, I am a fan of their other stuff
If driving an Alfa does not restore vitality to your soul, then just pass the hospital and park at the morgue to save everyone time.

Now drives a Jaaaaaaag...and thus will not pay for anything during an outing...but it is OK, because....I drive a Jaaaaaag.

Nice, will have to give this a try.  I just out a coat of polish on MX-5 last weekend, and the CX-5 a couple weeks ago.
Didn't realize it is an aerosol spray - how many treatments do think you'll get out of it?

Damn Ron... you screwed up my weekend dude. I want to try this thing on the GTI... I was already "primed" to clean the GTI this weekend as it's long overdue, but this will add another step.

However, you mentioned paint correction in your original post and then one thing led to another and I ended up finding this Meguiar's video.

https://youtu.be/GGwVmdH_3S0

Now I'm thinking to try it out on my 12 years old Outlander and see how it works... I too love and have almost exclusively used Meguiar's products for years.....

My thoughts exactly.  ;D. That Lexus looks mighty fine.
