Best Entry Level Luxury Sedan
« on: April 19, 2019, 09:56:19 pm »
Just wondering what everyone's thoughts are on the 'best' entry level luxury sedan out of these 4 competitors. I know they're all better than others in certain areas but if you had to pick only one as a daily driver, which one would it be and why? Also, if you pick other, please make sure it is in the same price range as these vehicles.

If driving an Alfa does not restore vitality to your soul, then just pass the hospital and park at the morgue to save everyone time.

Now drives a Jaaaaaaag...and thus will not pay for anything during an outing...but it is OK, because....I drive a Jaaaaaag.

Can't be driving it if it's always in the shop...

Can be driving many dealer loaners while it's "home" :P

For smooth no bump ride: Lexus ES300h with excellent fuel economy and great re-sale value.

For spirited driving, perhaps add a 3.3T G70.

Give a man a fish, he eats for a day. Teach the man to fish and he wakes you up at 5 in the morning.

Wokeism is nothing more than the recognition and opposition of bigotry in all its forms.  Bigots are predictably triggered.

Jaguar XE. I really like the sporty look of its interior and exterior.

QV is delicate machine and not entry level, ask owners of M cars and AMG, they will cry their eyes into your shoulder.

Lexus IS/GS, Infiniti Q50, Genesis, Acura TLX would also be great cars to check out if you are just looking at rental spec FGCs.
Lighten up Francis.....

The new S60 (and every new Volvo) is handsome AF but for me it's gotta be the 3 series, because drivetrain, balance, seats, and easy leasing (there's nothing more "luxury" than dumping a nice car after only  24 months ;))

My Volvo vote comes after spending a week with an S90. The current Volvo DNA is pretty good, and the available PHEV drivetrain is well sorted out.

Interesting. Did you have the T8 then?

400hp & 4.6 l/100km is a great number combo to me. Powerful, smooth and frugal drivetrain, the ability to go silent in the urban core, great interior materials and presence - that's the making of a luxury midsizer.

Very cool. That T8 really is an impressive drivetrain. Merci!
